The Community Voicemail (CVM) program will be put into service in March 2014 in Prince George and area in partnerships with the Community Voicemail service out of Vancouver, BC.  Eligible participants are given voicemail numbers provided by community service providers and government agencies who work with clients to improve their living situations and to obtain independent living.  CVM weaves together the support community so agencies are better able to coordinate housing, health care and employment services for their participants by enhancing the efficiency of the whole system.  By empowering participants to communicate with the right resources no matter their personal situations.  The weekly verbal bulletin, organized and sent by the CVM program coordinator will inform users of useful resources, events, opportunities, health and weather reports.  The weekly broadcast has resulted in stronger client-engagement, encouraging clients to check their messages regularly and explore the opportunities and resources that their community holds for them.  This free program provides those in need with a free local phone number and voicemail allowing participants to receive messages from potential employers, housing providers, doctors, schools, legal services and other vital services.  The Resource Broadcasting program enables social service agencies to send out information and opportunities to hundreds of CVM participants by delivering their messages to the participants personal voicemail and or email account.  Check out at Lu'ma Native Housing's web site for more details on the program.  We are very excited to launch this new program.  You can become part of this excitement by:
